The Lopez Summer Conservatory of Theater- Teens Production is an intensive 3 weekcamp program in which participants rehearse and perform a full professional main stage production. The Lopez Summer Conservatory of Theatre has been structured to challenge young performers while also building confidence and gaining valuable stage performance experience. While this intense camp program has a great emphasis on performance, campers will also receive conservatory level training in a wide variety of theatre disciplines during the rehearsal process. This will include vocal production, acting for singers, vocal health, stage movement, characterization, improvisation,  and much more. Registration will be open to performers ages 12-18.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR.

Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR.  Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.

It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

All Regsitered Campers WILL BE accepted in the camp and EVERY CAMPER WILL BE IN THE SHOW. Auditions are ONLY for role allocation. If you do not audition you will be placed in the ensemble or where needed. ALL CAMPERS MUST BE FULLY REGISTERED FOR THE CAMP BEFORE THEY WILL BE ACCEPTED TO PARTICIPATE IN AUDITIONS!

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

• Accepting campers ages 12-18
• Auditions are scheduled for

 Sunday, July 20th  &  July 21st (First Day of the Camp) 

• Please prepare ONE MINUTE of a Music Theater song. Songs may be sung with a track or acapella. We will have a bluetooth speaker availble in order to connect mobile devices to play music tracks. A piano will not be available. 
• Auditions will include a vocal, acting, and movement portion. Please be aware that you must stay for the entire group audition in order to be considered for lead, supporting and/or featured roles. 
• Please be prepared to bring a recent Head Shot as well as a recent resume.
• If you have any questions, please contact THE LCP STAFF. We are here to help!
• If you would like assistance in preparing for your audition, consider booking a few Coaching Sessions!
• All Campers will have the option of signing up for an advance Audition on Sunday, July 20th or they can opt to audition on the first day of the camp Monday, July 21st. The first day of the camp will also be allocated for call backs as needed. Campers who opt NOT to Particiapte in auditions will be placed in the ensemble and not considered for a lead role. Final casting will be completed by the end of the first day of the camp.
